Evan has taught my children fishing for the past several years. He has brought them old school fun during the summer surrounded by nature and time to be off line and to be a kid.  He has found the fine balance of being a mentor, friend and teacher.  We look forward to summers purely because of Evan's camp.

My 2 kids have taken fishing lessons from Evan the past 2 summers and absolutely love it.  He makes it so fun and easy and they catch fish almost every time.  Evan is also very patient even when my daughter tangled the line 4 times and when bait falls off the hook.  I highly recommend him.

Evan is very responsible and in one session my son learned the essentials to fishing , and he was able to catch 3 on his own since this session. 

Fishing is the one place I can have independence and be in nature in a day filled with scheduled camps and things to do.  I'm so excited to learn from Evan and one day follow in his footsteps.  He is like a big brother to show you the ropes.

I have enjoyed the times I have gone to Evan's fishing camp.  I never want to touch the fish when I catch one but Evan is understanding and still makes me feel good when I catch them.

-Do I need a fishing pass?  Yes, you can get passes at the HOA or if you do not live in the community then ask Evan.  

-What if I don’t catch a fish?  It is very common not to catch a fish.  Fishing takes patience, skill and luck.  But all kids that have participated in the camp have caught fish in at least a couple or more sessions.  

-When does camp start and end?  For 2025, it will start June 23 and end when school starts in mid August.
